| Geocaching in Blue Mound Geocaching is a kind of high tech treasure hunt for the whole family. Using a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, you take coordinates that are posted on the internet and look for containers all over the country. These containers range from smaller than a film canister to a large ammo can or large Tupperware-like container. Inside these capsules (caches) are usually little trinkets that you can trade for. There is also a log sheet where you can log your find. After you have found the cache, you could go back to the internet and log your find there as well.
